It’s my first class, what do I need to know?

Come to class early. We’ll show you around, set you up at your mat, introduce you to our fab members, answer any questions you have, and make you feel right at home!

What do I need to bring to class?

We recommend bringing a water bottle. We have filtered water for you to enjoy. We take care of everything else, including mats, props, and towels.

Will I be able to do this if I haven’t worked out in a while or have never done Pilates??

Absolutely! We teach in layers, making our classes a great choice for all ages, all body types, and all fitness levels.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable and something that hugs the body. This allows for free-range of movement and won’t get in the way of your movements. We are barefoot during class, but grippy socks are optional.

Tennis shoes are also optional for Power Pilates classes. Since this class incorporates jumping and more dynamic movements, we understand you might feel the need for additional foot support. We kindly ask that any shoes worn during our classes are clean and appropriate for indoor studio use.

How often should I come?

We recommend coming to class as often as you can! With our variety of class offerings and intensity levels, you can easily find something that fits your energy and schedule. Consistency is key to seeing progress and feeling great. Whether it's a few times a week or every day, find a routine that makes you happy. The more you practice, the better you'll feel!

When does the Intro Offer start?

Your Two Week Unlimited Introductory Offer begins the first day to take class. To get the most out of it, we recommend booking as many classes as you can in advance. This way, you can experience different instructors and styles of class, and find what you love best!

If we are not at the front desk, what should you do?

Please make yourself comfortable! Have a seat in our sitting area or tuck your belongings into one of the cubbies. We'll be back at the front desk in no time to welcome you!

Will you have childcare?

Yes! We are so excited to offer childcare at multiple class times each day. Our membership includes childcare, so you can get your sweat on while we look after your wee ones. Alternatively, we have childcare packs to purchase.

What are your policies regarding phones?

We understand that you may need to have your phone with you during class. We kindly ask that you keep it on silent and step out of the studio if you have to take a call. We aim to provide an environment where we don't sweat the small stuff. We're here to focus on moving our bodies, and we don't consider checking your phone disruptive.

What happens if I need to leave early?

No worries! We're just glad you squeezed in some movement with us. If you need to leave early, simply give us a wave and slip out. We'll take care of cleaning your mat and props. We understand people are busy, and we cultivate an easy-going space where no one sweats the small stuff.

What are your booking, cancellation, and waitlist policies?

We prefer you to book your class in advance through our website or the Momence app to secure your spot. However, if you're able to attend last minute, just come on in! We'll always make room for you. Please cancel your spot in class if you can’t make it, preferably 8 hours before class starts. If you are on our waitlist, please plan on being there. Our waitlist moves quickly, and you'll receive an email to confirm if you've been moved into the class. If you no longer want the spot, be sure to cancel it, so the next person on our waitlist can be notified promptly.
